"Great deal! Awesome skies!!!…"
My husband bought for me the new skies from skies.com. We were so excited because i wanted that kind of skies, and finally we found them on the skies.com. (I need to say that these skies were sold out in the length which we were looking for), so we were so happy that finally found them! We made purchase on January 1 (holiday day), and just was looking for a new email with tracking number. On January, 7 we got email, with tracking number, January 8, i got my new skies!!! The skies ate exactly as a described, new, still in plastic wrap, new bindings. Great deal! Great seller!!! Thank you so much!!!

"Laughing at the sheer audacity"
I ordered some cross-country skis. Got a killer deal. Somebody whanged the package during shipping and the tails on two of the four delaminated. Simple mistake, I figure, but could have been avoided with a few cents worth of foam. I emailed them about it, and six days later I'm wondering if I'll hear back.

I called today during business hours, spent about 10 minutes on hold. Sure, makes sense, there's a viral pandemic on. After a while, they start giving me the option to press 1 to have a rep call me back when one's available. I pick that.

A minute later, they called me back. IT WAS A ROBOT CALLING TO SAY NOBODY WAS THERE TO CALL ME BACK 😂😂😂. 10/10, I'm still laughing at this.

Guess I'll try epoxying these skis myself. Still got a nice discount. We were saving up to buy some skis at a local shop, but then my hours got cut when COVID hit.

God bless the workers who have to deal with customers after the Skis.com robot prank calls them, if there are any during the pandemic. I actually hope their workers have all quit and are thriving as they spend their labor within their communities and watch the death throes of the consumer economy from a safe distance.

“Yes, many. Evo.com, Backcountry.com, The-House.com, SkiEssentials.com, etc. There are also a ton of local ski shops that have stores in various mountain towns that have websites and sell their leftover stock in the off-season for steep discounts. If you just Google search particular items you're looking for, you'll see various websites offering that item or similar items that are affiliated with ski/snowboard shops in ski resort mountain towns.”
